Their traditional wedding held in December 2012. Oby's father served as a special adviser to Ohakim government when he was in office.

Shortly after launching into the oil and gas industry with MAVIN Energy, Ace producer turned businessman Don Jazzy has decided to delve into another potential business gold mine: clothing. The producer and CEO of MAVIN Records announced on twitter, his plans for a clothing line.
He says, “Oya who go model for me? #MavinClothing” ” Ok guys. Audition dates coming soon. Will keep you guys posted. #MavinClothingModelSearch Osheee IDJA“

The Mavin family headed by the one and only Don Jazzy is getting bigger and the latest addition to the Mavin Mix is none other than DJ Spinall. According to the press release:
“One of Nigeria’s foremost DJ’s is the latest star to join the Mavin family. DJ Spinall, is popular not just for his unique mixes but also the distinctive traditional cap that he wears during performances. He brings his prodigious mixing ability and potent accompanying visuals to become the official DJ of Mavin Records.
Spinall’s Mavin activation comes after the DJ had spent over a decade fine-tuning his art. He has worked at wide range of radio stations including Ray Power and Eko FM. He has also played at some of the world’s most popular venues in both Nigeria and the United States. Spinall is currently the official DJ for Industry Nite and Club Pop.
Last month Mavin Records new Official DJ released a 2012 Party Mix compilation, Head Liners Party Mix’ in collaboration with DJ Smade of the UK. This followed the release of the hugely popular Genesis Mixtape last year.
Mavin CEO, Don Jazzy, has welcomed DJ Spinall to the label saying he is one of the leading lights in Nigeria today.
“DJ Spinall is someone I have known and admired for a long time,” he said. “I am really excited to be working with him and I know that many fans too share that excitement.”

From Kele -Kele love to Love me Love me and finally Folarin, we have grown to love girl-next-door singer, Tiwa Savage. Her soft spoken words and bright laugh is enough to get you hooked before you even realize. Here are a few things you didn’t know about the pretty singer:

1. TiwaSavage studied Music!!! In a society where music is seen as leisure and just became a bankable profession  the star took a leap of faith and went to the Berklee College of Music where she graduated in 2007. If that’s not passion, then I don’t know what it is.
2. Also in line with her passion for music, she became a background vocalist from a few major acts like Mary J. Blige, Sting, George Micheal, Kelly Clarkson and even Spice girls.
3. She was once on X-Factor!!! X-Factor is a US music talent show that’s for the best….and only the best. Well, our girl Tiwatope auditioned to be in X-Factor. How cool is that???
4. She came back to Nigeria to start off her musical career and now owns her own company called 323 Music Entertainment with manager, Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun (who by the way is rumoured to be her beau). She is currently signed to Sony USA Record Label and also Don Jazzy’s MAVIN Records.
5. She landed a Pepsi deal with Wizkid where she gets to be the face of the Pepsi brand in Africa.
6. She is birthday mates with R&B singer, Dare Art Alade.

Most Anticipated Wedding From The Idibias To Hold March 23

This wedding is probably the most anticipated wedding of 2013. 2face Idibia and Annie Idibia nee Macaulay will be making it official on the 23 of March. The wedding which was originally slated for February had been moved to March so as to take care of logistics.  The date of the wedding wasn’t released until; yesterday when Annie put it up on her facebook page. The Dubai venue is yet to be released.
The wedding would take place in Dubai and would host the top of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Stars that would grace the event include Don Jazzy, D’banj, Basketmouth, Banky W, Kenny Ogungbe, Genevieve Nnaji, P-Square, Tonto Dike and maybe Naeto C ; assuming Mrs C doesn’t drop the bundle of joy before then. We await more news about the happy event.
